mood swing

bday girl has her moods as well. capturing moods is a profession in itself. that means sitting on soil, waiting, trying, standing up, running after her, calling her name, bribing, more waiting. it's her bday anyway...

it's aqui's 1st bday today. our treat: a 50-meter walk off to the street this morning (2nd time to do after she grew up this big months ago). could not hold her with me so back to our house for more free pictorial.

house ko

wish ko lang... this is the sto nino shrine, romualdezes' house in tacloban but not really inhabited. sayang. with around 20 rooms, it could have been a good source of income if turned into a boarding house. tricyle in 2nd pix from top interests me to realize that the glorious days of this place are now long gone. (and more interesting to note is we got to this place in a hot afternoon while taking our laundry. singit nalang ang pagpunta namin dito)

long neck girl

ate nila (in red) left tacloban for a greater good. she will be helping the less privileged thai in maehongson and in long neck village come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. to know Christ is to know one's right, one's privileges, one's freedom. (by the way, i almost didn't make it to this photo since i forgot to bring my camera. i had to travel to our house and back for an hour to get the cam.)

summer rainbow

before the month of may ends, i was gifted with this rainbow. saw it in the airport while waiting for a jeep to pass. God (was) good to show us this as a reminder of His promise to keep us inspite of hitches as what exactly happened during this day. (sent off ate nila yesterday morning. bound for bangkok. her ticket was purchased online, forgot to bring a copy of the credit card used for verification so she was refused checking in. it was almost 7am, and her flight was 7:40. we had to run to the card owner's house to pick up the card and id. no jeep in sight, but got this rainbow instead. why fret? i took pictures, got this, and ate nila is now in manila safe.)
