now owned by UP, this is a promising spot for taclobanons. location is in magsaysay blvd, very near downtown. hope we all realize the value of this garden sooner than before it is too late. UP has allocated some funds to develop this used-to-be-our-study-area. and it is hoped the development is sooner.

payag kaenan

yes, the restaurant is called payag kaenan, with an e. sells very cheap lunch (26 pesos for a cup of rice, fish and veggie), "home" cooked. non-aircon tho, but savings friendly. they have a folk singer who plays guitar (singer is an old folk too) during lunch. located in sto. nino near corner burgos streets.
