(i am actually broke today. went out, took my cam, and saw some things gracious in balyuan. life is just unfair, i better believe that. even the kalachuchi and that yellow bell show composure while waiting for one more day before they decompose)

in english, bird. but these are baby birds, something i don't know what baby birds are called and something i don't know what these birds are called. we found their nest in one of the plants in the yard, a bit broken. so we took them and placed them back. now they are gone... birds, really, do fly.

PBA

PBA came over for an exhibiton game. we didn't watch. we (my friends) met them at one fastfood here in tacloban and took the opportunity to take photos with them. somebody once believed that i coached a basketball team in my younger years. and i stood by it.

graduation (not mine)

there is something in graduation which i dread or find sweet. i don't know. i always have a graduation to attend to every year, and the irony of it is that, it is a graduation not in my alma mater. the one above was in EVSU, a friend of mine graduated PhD after long long years...

not my guitar

i once had a borrowed guitar from my brother, a 1980 12-string gibson, which was broken in my boarding house by whoeverhewas (may he rest in peace). from then on, i no longer play this instrument (as if i really played before). but one thing i plan tho, to bring back the interest in playing this instrument. it is available (tho i don't have one yet); it can be played anywhere, anytime. and the sound - such music when all or one string is strummed.

first exhibit of leysamfoto in people center. leysam stands for leyte-samar. this is our local photography club, recognized and gaining popularity. i have contributions already to the club but i still miss lots of opportunities to join them in photoshoot. i am a bit insecure but i am trying hard to overcome. i escaped from work this morning to visit the exhibit (science and trade fair) in people center. (i am not really into facts and details as i didn't even bother to check the exhibit title and til when.) this is what i saw.

aqui: almost a year old

when i decided to get another dog, it was by impulse because the dog was offered for free and should be taken immediately. and it was a labrador! almost a year old now, aqui grows to be very impulsive. recently we watched the marley and me movie. and marley in the movie is the aqui in real life - unruly, hyperactive, maybe a flanker in obedience training. she jumps on you, licks your face with her tongue (particularly looking for your mouth), sleeps in your bed, she uses your pillow, bites everything her mouth can carry on, eats in your table, licks your plate when you're not looking, scavanges all garbage bins in the house, brings into the house cut woods from the backyard, runs after frogs, birds, butterflies...(atbp.) 1st, 4th and 5th photos in this entry were taken by gemma.
